The Vacheron Constantin Malte Perpetual Calendar Chronograph uses a manual mechanical movement which is 7.37mm thick and 27mm in diameter through the 1141 QP caliber. It has 21 rubies with a frequency of 18,000 vibrations per hour.

The functions available are the hours, minutes, seconds at 9, chronograph and perpetual calendar. It uses a column wheel mechanism for its chronograph. The 30 minutes subdial with blue steel hands is located at 3. It uses central chronograph hands. The date counter with moon phase is located at 6 which is based on a 950 platinum engraved disk finished by hand. The day and month display is positioned at 12. The crown is platinum and fluted. Its has a 48 hour power reserve. The dial is made of platinum 950 sand-blasted.
The case is 41.5mm in diameter and 11.0mm thick. It has a anti-reflective sapphire crystal that is scratch resistant. The case back is transparent with sapphire crystal. The water resistance is up to 30m. The strap is in Blue Mississipiensis Alligator leather with folding clasp in platinum 950 and a half Maltese cross.
