Transamerica Double Retrograde Seconds is an automatic winding mechanical watch using the Franck Muller 2800 GR caliber. It consists of 42 hours power reserve and has 21 jewels.
It vibrates at 28,800vph using flat balanced spring and an Incabloc shock absorber system. The platinum rotor comes beveled and decorated with Cotes de Geneve along with blued screws. Functions are hour, minute and small seconds.
The three-piece stainless steel case comes in tonneau shape, which is anatomically curved. The size is 43.5x39.7mm with a thickness of 14mm. It has a round bezel with curved sapphire crystal. The back is fastened with 4 screws, and is water resistant to 3atm (30m). This piece comes in stainless steel bracelet with recessed double fold-over clasp.
The black flinque dial comes with luminescent Arabic numerals and luminescent blue-steeled lozenge hands. It is also available in silvered dial with leather strap.
The indications are small seconds with two retrograde hands at 6 and 12 each alternatively indicating 30 seconds.
