Girard Perregaux Sea Hawk Pro 1000 MetersThe Sea Hawk Pro 1000 meters is one of the most advanced diving watches from Girard Perregaux. It commands a water resistance of up to 1000 meters. It runs on a mechanical self-winding movement on caliber GP033R0. It vibrates at 28,800 per hour and has 27 jewels within. Its power reserve is a minimum of 46 hours.
The case is made of steel with a diameter of 44mm. It uses sapphire crystal. There is a uni-directional rotating bezel to calculate the dive times. It has a helium valve used for decompressing the watch after deep dives. The crown and caseback are both screwed down. Tests done on the watch showed that it is able to withstand pressures exerted to a depth of 1000 meters. This translates into over 1500 kilograms. This test is based on ISO 6425. The functions available are the hour, minute, small second subdial at 10, and the power reserve indicator at 6. The dial indices and hands are all treated with Superluminova for low light visibility.
