The original Royal Oak Chronograph before the many hybrids was developed. This mens watch has a very sporty and stylish feel about it. It runs on an automatic winding movement that has a chronograph with minute counter at 3, small seconds counter at 6, and the second counter at 9.
It comes in 39mm diameter case that is 11mm thick. It uses flat sapphire crystal together with its classic octagonal bezel with gasket. Its pushers are all with case protection that allows it to achieve water resistance of 50m.
The case comes in stainless steel, yellow gold, and white gold. It has dials of various colors for each type of case. For example, stainless steel comes in silvered, cosmos blue, and black dials.
Yellow gold has silvered or blue petite tappesserie dials. White gold uses silvered dials. Within the dial, it has luminescent markers and baton hands. The dial itself is with Grande Tappisserie and surrounded by printed minute tracks.
The straps used are of the same metal scheme as the case. It contains the fold over clasp with safety pusher.
