The Professional Hercules uses the Breitling 39 caliber that is a combination of ETA and Kelek models. It is an automatic movement with a COSC-certified chronometer. It has 38 jewels and runs at high frequency of 28,800 vph.
It functions as a chronograph with three counters: small seconds located at 3, hour and minute counter at 6, and a 24-hour counter positioned at 9.
The case is made of non-magnetic stainless steel with a diameter of 44.8mm and 15.7mm thickness. Its sapphire crystal is flat with anti-reflective on both sides. Its bezel is knurled ring and can be turned bi-directionally which is integrated with the flange along the dial.
There is also indication of north, south, east, west on the bezel as well as scaling for 360°. Its caseback is screwed down with embossed Breitling logo. It has a screw-down crown with case protection and two pushers positioned at 2 and 4. Water resistance is up to 100m.
The dial comes in black, silver, slate gray and blue. All these versions have a silvered subdial. Its flange has IFR/VFR scale and it can be rotated bi-directionally together with the bezel. It has a minute track with ¼ second division.
The subdials have a rhodium-plated circumference. Its sword-shaped central hands and subdials are all luminescent and rhodium-plated. The baton markers have luminescent dots on them.
It uses either the Professional bracelet with fold-over safety device buckle.
