The Professional B2 uses the Breitling 42 caliber that is a combination of ETA and Kelek models. It is an automatic movement with a COSC-certified chronometer. It has 38 jewels and runs at high frequency of 28,800 vph.
It functions as a chronograph with three counters: small seconds located at 3, 3-hour counter at 6, and a 10-minute counter positioned at 9. It also has the second counter running from the center of the dial. Its calendar display is located between 4 and 5.

The case is made of stainless steel, yellow gold, and white gold with a diameter of 43.5mm and 15mm thickness. Its sapphire crystal is flat with anti-reflective on both sides.
Its bezel is knurled ring and can be turned bi-directionally which is integrated with the flange along the dial. There is also a luminescent dot marker at 12 and also a scaling for 360°. Its caseback is screwed down with embossed Breitling logo. Water resistance is up to 100m.

The dial comes in black, silver, and blue. The silver dials uses slate-gray subdials while the black and blue dials use silvered subdials. Its flange can be rotated bi-directionally with the bezel and has a tachometer scale measurable with the slide-rule. It has a half-minute track with 1/5 second division.
Its sword-shaped central hands and subdial hands are all rhodium-plated with the central hands being luminescent. There are also luminescent dotted markers with rhodium-plated as well as an Arabic numeral 12.
For the yellow gold, the central hands, subdial hands, and the dotted markers’ circumference are using yellow gold instead of rhodium-plated.
It comes in either the Fighter bracelet or straps that are made of leather, crocodile, buffalo leather or Diver Pro.
