Panerai Luminor Chronograph 40mm
Panerai made a change to their Panerai Luminor Chronograph 40mm with a 40mm diameter size compared to their usual 47 and 44mm models. It uses 316L stainless steel for the case with its trademark patented lever enclosing the crown for perfect water resistance up to 100 meters. The finishing on the bezel is mirror polished while the case band, the bridge of the lever, and the push pieces (located at 2 and 4 o'clock of the case) are all satin finished.
The watch (reference PAM00310) is running on Panerai OP XII caliber, an automatic mechanical movement. It has 27 jewels and vibrates at 28,800 alternations per hour. Its chronometer is COSC certified. The available functions are the hours, minutes, small seconds, chronograph with two subdials. The dial is black with luminous Arabic numerals and hour markers. Its two subdials are the minute counter positioned 3 o'clock and the small seconds counter at 9 o'clock. It uses sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating.
