Opus has one of the most interesting designs in mens watches. It is a mechanical watch using automatic winding movement. It uses Valjoux 7750 caliber as base to create Chronoswiss Caliber C741.
It has a skeletonized finishing that includes the rotor, plates and bridges. Every skeletonized part is hand-finished. The parts are beveled and have circular graining with 25 jewels.
It has case versions in stainless steel, rose gold, white gold, yellow gold, and platinum (with platinum rotor that is limited to 99 pieces). There are also combination of stainless steel and gold or stainless steel and rose gold. Its diameter is 38mm and thickness of 15mm.
The bezel is knurled and uses an onion-shaped crown and two pushers. It has curved sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment. The caseback is screwed down and transparent revealing the intrinsic movement within via a sapphire crystal. It has a water resistance of 30m.
The dial is silver or black grained and skeletonized. Each dial is also individually numbered to represent its exquisiteness. There is a printed railway minute track with ¼ seconds division on the circumference of the dial. It uses a Breguet blue steel lozenge hands.
Its chronograph has three counters: hour at 6, small seconds at 9, and minute counter located at 12. The date counter is positioned at 3.
The straps are Louisiana-crocodile leather with matching metal buckle. It also comes in bracelets with matching metal as well.
