Omega Museum Collection Cosmic 1951 is a mechanical automatic winding watch using the Omega 2601 caliber which is of Frederic Piguet caliber base. It has autonomy of 72 hours, consists of 31 jewels and is balanced at a frequency of 28,800 vph.
It is further decorated with Cotes de Geneve pattern. The functions include hour, minute, small seconds and a full calendar displaying date, day, month, and moonphase. This is produced as a limited edition of 1951 numbered pieces.

The three piece 18k red-gold square case comes with dimensions of 33.5x33.5mm and has a thickness of 11mm. This polished and brushed finished piece comes with antireflective curved sapphire crystal. The back is fastened by 4 screws with the House’s logo and the writing “The Omega Museum Collection 2001”.
It also has the year of the original “1952” model’s realization. This includes the indication “Collector’s series number two” along with the series number. It is water resistant to 50meters.
The dark-blue dial comes with applied red-gold-plated pointed markers and printed minute track. This is accompanied by red-gold-plated Alpha hands. The strap comes in crocodile leather with red-gold clasp.
The indications include small seconds and moonphase at 6 with center day and month, along with date with center hand.
