New Emotion Tourbillon or Academia Tourbillon Mysterieux is an exclusive De Witt creation of a tourbillon that uses mysterious wheel Dents de Loup. It is actually a mechanism involving wheel and gear-trains known as “wolf-teeth”. It runs on mechanical movement made in-house with 21,600 vph.
Its case comes in red gold, white gold, and titanium. All versions encompass the “New Emotion” or “Academia” styled case where the bezel and middle portion has the “Imperial Column” engraving.
It uses sapphire crystal for the case and the caseback is transparent with sapphire crystal too revealing the tourbillon movement within. Its water resistance is up to 30 meters.
The dial uses hand-turned plate and bridge and also a Petit Panier motif decoration. For the red gold case, the dial is in chocolate color, white gold case with blue color dial, and titanium with gray color dial.
Its central hands are shaped like a sword which is a De Witt exclusive style. Along its flange is the minute track with Roman numerals.
It has a black alligator strap and a matching metal folding clasp. There is only a limitation of 50 pieces for each case version.
