New Emotion Dual Time GMT or Academia Double Fuseau uses the DW 2001 caliber based on ETA 2892-2-A2 with Agenhor module and is totally built in-house. It is a mechanical and self winding movement. It has a 42 hour power reserve and vibrates at 18,000 vph.
Its case comes in solid 750 red-gold and 750 white gold. Both encompass the “New Emotion” or “Academia” styled case where the bezel and middle portion has the “Imperial Column” engraving. It uses sapphire crystal for the case. Its water resistance is up to 30 meters.
There are four different dial versions available for the two types of case. For the red gold case, the dial comes in either ruthenium or mother-of-pearl. The white gold case has dials in carbon fiber or chocolate colored.
Its central hands are shaped like a sword which is a De Witt exclusive style and it has an extra smaller hand in red for reading the second time zone.
There are Arabic numerals used for the hour indication. There is a subdial at 12 that indicates the 24 hours of the day and a date display at 6. It has a black alligator strap and a matching metal folding clasp. There is only a limitation of 99 pieces for each case version.
