The MB&F Horological Machine No. 2 is designed by Jean-Marc Wiederrecht/Agenhor on its functions and powered by a Girard-Perregaux oscillator and gear train. It has a balance oscillating at 28,800 bph. It uses a 22 k rose gold Double Hakken automatic winding rotor. It comprises 349 including 44 jewels.
Its functions on the left dial is the retrograde date and bi-hemisphere moon phase. The right dial has the jumping hours and concentric retrograde minutes.
Its case is available in 18k white gold/titanium or 18k red gold/titanium. It has a limited edition of 125 pieces in each combination to be delivered over 3 years. Its dimensions are (exclusive of crown and lugs) 59mm x 38mm x 13mm. The water resistance is up to 30 meters (3 ATM). It uses sapphire crystals with anti-reflective treatment on both faces. The case-back is also treated with anti-reflective on single face.
The dials are made of silver and ruthenium. It uses Black hand-stitched alligator strap with 18 carat gold and titanium custom designed deployment buckle. It also has a presentation box with precision engineered aluminum and leather instrument case featuring an integrated Rüeger thermometer.
