Luminor GMT 40mm is an automatic incorporating the Panerai OP VIII Caliber which is of Valijoux 7750-P1 caliber base. It is hand finished with the Panerai decoration engraved on the bridges. The chronometer is COSC certified. The functions include hour, minute, small seconds, date, second-time zone and 24-hour.
The three piece titanium case comes in carre galbe shape at a diameter of 40mm and a thickness of 16.4mm. It displays the movement through curved sapphire crystal at a thickness of 3.5mm. It is antireflective with magnifying glass on the date.
The crown is waterproofed by a patented system consisting of a bridge and is fastened in the middle by two screws. It has a unique lever pressing the crown against the waterproofing gasket onto a screw-on back. It is water resistant to 300 meters.
The matte black dial comes with luminescent baton markers and Arabic numerals. There is a printed minute track with skeletonized and luminescent steel baton hands.
The indications include date at 3 with small seconds at 9. The 24-hour second time zone with center hand has an arrow-shaped tip.
The titanium bracelet comes with central steel links of which the design reminds the crown-protecting bridge. This comes with recessed double fold-over clasp with hidden safety pusher.
