Luminor 1950 is a manual winding mechanical using the Panerai OP XI 16 ½ caliber which has 56-hour autonomy and 17 jewels. It is Glucydur balanced to a frequency of 21,600 vph and comprises of Nivarox balance-spring with swan-neck retainer spring.
It comes with Incabloc anti-shock absorber system and is hand finished with “Panerai” decoration engraved on the bridges. The chronometer is COSC certified. The functions include hour, minute and small seconds.

The three-piece stainless case comes in carre galbe shape which has a diameter of 47mm and a thickness of 16.9mm. The brushed and polished finish comes with curved sapphire crystal which has a thickness of 2mm.
This is accompanied by antireflective crown which is waterproofed by a patented system consisting of a bridge and is fastened in the middle by two screws. This comes with a unique lever pressing the crown against a waterproofing gasket. The screw-on back displays the movement through a sapphire crystal and is water resistant to 100 meters.
The matte black dial comes with luminescent Arabic numerals and luminescent baton hands. Indications include small seconds at 9. The strap comes in calf leather.
This is attached with pivots closed by screws. The clasp comes in brushed steel. A second strap is supplied. This piece is produced as a limited edition of 1950 pieces.
