LUC Tonneau 6.96 runs on automatic movement using LUC 6.96 caliber which is produced by Chopard in-house. It is fully hand-finished and has the Cotes de Geneve pattern on the bridges as well as a COSC-certified chronometer.

The case versions available are the 18k white-gold, pink-gold, and yellow-gold. They are produced as limited edition at 1860 pieces for its remembrance of Louis-Ulysse Chopard effort setting up the company in 1860.
The dimension of this mens watch is 38.5mm by 40mm and has a thickness of 10mm. Its case is curved so does the sapphire crystal over it. It uses similar metal scheme for the case as its crown.
The caseback is screwed down and transparent showing the movement within through its sapphire crystal. Its water resistance is up to 30m.
The dial is either in silver or black. The center portion of the dial has the guilloche pattern. Its middle portion is brushed and indicative of the hours using pointed markers.
The pointer markers for pink-gold and yellow-gold cases are using similar applied faceted pink-gold and yellow-gold respectively. As for the white-gold cases, it uses rhodium-plated pointed markers instead.
On the outer most portion of the dial is the printed minute track. It uses Dauphine-styled hands for its central hands.
There is only small seconds counter located at 6. The date display is also positioned at the same location. Its strap is made of crocodile leather and a clasp using similar metal scheme as the case.
