The Longitude II is a mechanical and self winding movement. It contains 21 jewels with a 42 hours power reserve. It is COSC-certified chronometer. It is decorated with Cotes de Geneve and rounded grained patterns in its movement.
Its case is made of high quality stainless steel. Not only is it low carbon but also further enhanced with high corrosion-resistance.
The case diameter is about 45mm. Interestingly, it has a secret back that can be opened via a push button at 3. It will then reveal the sapphire see-through caseback. Within the secret back is Equation of Time.
The functions available on Longitude II are quite a few: the hours, minutes, seconds, date, and most importantly, the longitude-position calculator.
The dial has a central 24-hour disc with luminescent markers. The hour and minute hands also have luminescent. On its minute hand is an extra-long red tip. Within the central disc shows a picture of North Pole face on Earth.
Its longitude calculator has to be used in combination with the 24 hour disc . There is also the longitudinal scale around the rotating bezel.
The strap comes in black rubber with polished and engraved steel buckle. As you can see there are three versions of Longitude II. It comes in black dial, silver dial, and the Blue Ice range.
