The JeanRichard Chronoscope Brutale collection focused on the Italian word "Brutale" which means extreme virility and power. It is inspired by the MV Augusta motorcycles. JeanRichard uses this collection to showcase the signature features found on the "Brutale" motorbikes.
This watch runs on the JR1000 series self-winding mechanical movement (JR1030 caliber that is 11-1/2" with 63 jewels. It has a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour. Its power reserve is 48 hours.
The case dimension is 43mm by 43mm by 13.5mm. It is made of rubber with titanium or rose gold bezel. The pushers and crown are in similar metal as the bezel, that is either pink gold or titanium. The water resistance is up to 30m. It has a black dial with carbon fiber. The date is marked with red numerals. The functions available are the hours, minutes, seconds, a date window at between 4 and 5. The chronograph has 12-hour indicator at 6, the small seconds at 3, and the 30-minute subdial at 9. The strap is made of leather with a hidden folding clasp. It is a limited edition of 1078 pieces only.
