IWC Aquatimer Automatic 2000
The IWC Aquatimer Automatic 2000 is for serious underwater usage with the pressure-resistance to 200 bar. Divers who require the chronograph functions can seek the other models in the Aquatimer range, as the Automatic 2000 is designed for easy time-telling with its uncluttered dial. This timepiece houses an automatic IWC Caliber 30110 (base ETA 2892-2). It contains 21 jewels that vibrate at 28,800 times per hour. Power reserve is estimated at 42 hours when fully wound. The functions are hours, minutes; sweep seconds; date at 3.

The stainless steel casing is 44mm in diameter, with a height of 14mm. There is a unidirectionally rotating bezel with 60-minute divisions. The convex face is made of anti-reflective treated sapphire crystal. The crown is screwed-in, water-resistance is to, very impressively 200 atm. The IWC Aquatimer Automatic 2000 textured black dial is contrasted with bold white-accented hands and indexes that are coated with SuperLuminova to ease legibility in dark conditions underwater. Also, no fewer than six coats of SuperLuminova are applied to the underside of the glass ring. The bezel is black with also a bold yellow coloring through to the first quarter. The band is black rubber with a buckle.
