Glashutte Senator Sixties Square Chronograph
As the name suggests, the Glashutte Senator Sixties Square Chronograph from Glashütte Original was an inspiration from the 1960s. The creative heads at Glashütte Original were able to come up with a retro-looking timepiece in a square cushion shape that was all the rage back then.

This timepiece houses an automatic Glashütte Original Caliber 39-34. It contains 51 jewels that vibrate at 28,800 times per hour. The main functions are hours, minutes, subsidiary seconds; chronograph. The stainless steel casing is 41.35 x 41.35mm and has a height of 12.6mm. The face and case-back are both made of sapphire crystal and are anti-reflective. The transparent case-back further allows a view of the movement within, showing a three-quarter plate, gold chatons, swan-neck fine adjustment and Glashütte ribbing. The Glashutte Senator Sixties Square Chronograph domed dial is satin-finished, boasting diamond-cut hour markers with SuperLuminova coating to ease visibility in dark conditions. The gold coloured skeletonized hands match the indexes perfectly. Rounded buttons by the side of the case further accentuate the functionality of this pleasing chronograph. The timepiece is teamed with a black reptile skin strap with buckle.
