Glashutte Senator Navigator Perpetual Calendar
Now the Glashutte Senator Navigator Perpetual Calendar proves that Glashütte Original still has much up its sleeves. All movements by Glashütte Original are created by experienced in-house watchmakers. The Senator Navigator series was first unveiled in 2006, amid much fanfare for its resemblance to the timepieces of the WWII German pilots.

This timepiece houses an automatic Glashütte Original Caliber 100-07. It contains 59 jewels that vibrate at 28,800 times per hour. The main functions are hours, minutes, and sweep seconds; perpetual calendar with panorama date; weekday; month; moon phase; and leap year. The stainless steel casing is an incredibly generous 44mm in diameter and has a height of 13.9mm.The face and case-back are both made of domed sapphire crystal and are anti-reflective. The transparent case-back further allows a view of the splendid movement within. The Glashutte Senator Navigator Perpetual Calendar black dial is adorned by the leap year indication at 12, moonphase at 7, date at 4, and time near 2. This arrangement appears haphazard and yet lends a quirky feel to this classic-looking timepiece. SuperLuminova-coating on the Arabic numerals and markers ease visibility in dark conditions. The blue sword-shaped hands round up the dial nicely. The strap is made of brown leather that looks vintage, and comes with a buckle.
