Glashutte Senator Chronometer
The Glashutte Senator Chronometer houses a manually wound Glashütte Original Caliber 58-01. It contains 58 jewels that vibrate at 28,800 times per hour. This caliber features a power reserve display via a planetary gear, as well as an impressive second-reset when the crown is pulled. This is achieved by stopping of the time display, while the second hand jumps to 12 and remains in place; with the minute hand jumping to the next full minute marker, allowing precise setting of minutes and seconds. Furthermore, the movement is an officially certified German chronometer, issued under DIN 8319 which tests cased wristwatches in similar exacting conditions as the Swiss COSC certification which tests uncased movements.

The main functions are hours, minutes, subsidiary seconds; panorama date; day/night indicator; power reserve display. The white gold casing has a diameter of 42mm and height of 12.3mm. The face and case-back are both made of sapphire crystal and are anti-reflective. The transparent case-back further allows a view of the movement within, showing a three-quarter plate, gold chatons, and an engraved balance cock. The Glashutte Senator Chronometer dial is a gentle, silver grained, adorned with milled numerals and paint-filled markers. Then hands are blue and contrast against the pleasing dial in a sophisticated manner. The band comes in black reptile skin with a folding clasp.
