The Girard Perregaux Vintage 1945 Collection is having a new face that combines traditional craftsmanship and advanced techniques. The case is made of white gold with dimensions of 36mm by 37mm. Its dial is made of ivory enamel that is totally hand-made where the fine layer enamel powder is applied with regularity and precision. This is to ensure the homogeneous layering of the powder otherwise it will be irreversible in repair. It uses sapphire crystal for the front as well as the case-back revealing the intricate designs of the mechanisms within.

The movement is mechanical with automatic winding. It runs on the GP1900 caliber with a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour. It has 29 jewels within. Its power reserve is a minimum of 46 hours. The functions available are the hour, minute, small second at 7, power reserve indicator at 5, and date at 4. The strap is made of alligator skin with a folding buckle. Other available versions are the pink gold case with white enamel dial.
