The Girard Perregaux Tourbillon Chronograph Rattrapante Foudroyante is one of the most spectacular watch created with the rattrapante and foudroyante second. This watch is made from 507 components that were totally assembled by hand. It is encased within pink gold case with diameter of 44mm and height of 17.10mm. It uses sapphire crystal and has a transparent case back.

The watch runs on the GP9973 movement which is mechanical with manual winding. There are 43 jewels and vibrates at 21,600 frequency per hour. The power reserve is up to 96 hours. It has a tourbillon with gold bridge and its tourbillon cage encompasses 69 components with a small second on the tourbillon. The rattrapante chronograph has the ability to register split times and the foudroyante second (on a counter at 9) rotates once around the dial to represent one second. It is able to mark one sixth of a second as stop time.

It uses alligator strap with fold buckle. It is only limited at 33 pieces worldwide. The intricacy of this watch is the results of superior expertise by top watch making mastery.
