The Girard Perregaux Bi-Axial Tourbillon is filled with unique and sophisticated designs and mechanisms. It has two concentric cages to regulate its multi-dimensional rotations. It has an internal cage that contains the balance and balance spring. Its escapement completes one full rotation on the axis in 45 seconds. Another external cage will complete one revolution in 1 minute and 15 seconds on a second axis. The total time to finish a full rotation is in 3 minutes and 45 seconds.

The intricate mechanism is visible through its dial as well as its caseback. The tourbillon is made up of 113 components and both tourbillon weighs 0.80 grams. It uses coaxial barrels with two springs to achieve a power reserve of 72 hours. It runs on a mechanical movement with manual winding. Its caliber is 15-1/3" and a fitting diameter of 34mm. It uses 28 jewels and a 21,600 vibrations per hour. It also uses pink gold barrel bridges and central bridge.
Its pink gold case is 45mm in diameter with 18.50mm thickness. It has sapphire crystal for the front and case-back which is secured by 6 screws. Its water resistance is up to 30 meters. It uses alligator strap with pink gold folding buckle. It is a limited edition available in only 33 pieces.
