European Company Watch
Italian Avant-Garde
Watch Designers

This is a relatively young watch company, European Company Watch started only in year 2001 by Roberto Carlotti. This is a Italian man who has been working within the watchmaking industry since the 1970s.

He spent a hefty 10 years working closely with Franck Muller before starting the company. While collaborating with Franck Muller, he was able to create visionary designs and inspiration for his own timepieces.

His early test timepieces were very well accepted in Italy and he garnered Franck Muller’s support to bring his watch collection into the market. In 2002, the company debut their first range of collections at WPHH show held at Franck Muller’s Watchland in Genthod.

The three main collections that were presented then were Panhard, Legionnaire, and Armada. Their main attraction was the created of the case from a solid block of metal that ranges from titanium, steel, PVD steel, red or white gold.

Each of the collection has a different case shape. The Panhard is the traditional round shape, the Legionnaire has the tonneau shape, and the Armada uses the rectangular case shape. They are made to project a rugged look with its bezel tightly secured with many screws to improve its water resistance capability.

European Company Watch Panhard F41 Rosso Italiano

One of their recent collection is the beautifully designed Panhard PF41 TT Rosso Italiano is a chronograph made from either a single block of stainless steel or titanium. Its chronograph function has three counters covering hours at 6, minutes at 3, and seconds at 9. It has an amazing 100m water resistance. Another distinctive feature of this watch would be its bright red dial and red leather strap.

European Company Watch Panhard Ganador

Another Panhard collection Ganador uses a manual-winding caliber that has a polished steel finished case and anti-reflective sapphire crystal. The dimension is 40mm x 50mm with a silver dial. It has a seconds counter at 6. Its water resistant is up to 30m.

Other Panhard collections are:
F18 Tornado
M24 Day-Date

There is also the popular mens watch, Panhard M8 Gents. It is a simple classic design that is also made from a single block of stainless steel. Its dimension is 40mm x 51mm and thickness of 12.5mm. The baton markers and Arabic numerals are using luminescent. Its central hands are made from white enameled steel with luminescent too.

European Company Watch Panhard M8 Gents

There are two jewelry mens watches from European Company Watch that are diamond-set titanium watches, Legionnaire M8 Gents and Armada M8 Gents.

Due to the use of titanium which is not only hard and has extreme resistance, the setting of diamonds on it is a technically difficult process. These two watches have other versions without diamonds and purely stainless steel, titanium, white or red gold case.

Other Legionnaire and Armada collections:
Legionnaire M24 Day Date
Armada F41 Chronograph “Grand Guichet”
