Breitling Montbrillant Olympus

The Breitling Montbrillant Olympus for one, boasts a unique beaded bezel inspired by the first chronographs available. Another special feature is a clear distinction of the time zone from the logarithmic scales by a two-toned dial, especially useful for pilots.

This watch is powered by the highly complex automatic Breitling Caliber 19 (base ETA 2892-A2 with Dubois Dépraz module), containing 38 jewels with 28,800 vph. It is a COSC officially certified chronometer. The stainless steel case is 42.1mm in diameter with a height of 15.1mm. As mentioned, the case features a bidirectionally rotating bezel with integrated slide rule and tachymeter scale.

The face is made of glareproofed sapphire crystal, whereas the back bears an engraving of the original factory built by founder Leon Breitling on Montbrilliant street, the watchmaking town of La Chaux-de-Fonds. The crown is non-screw locked with two gaskets. The main functions are hours, minutes, subsidiary seconds; chronograph; four-year calendar with date, day, month and moon phase.

The Breitling Montbrillant Olympus dial is black and white, with luminescent Roman numerals and leaf-shaped hands. The straps come in brown reptile skin, or their signature stainless steel Navitimer bracelet. The casing can also come in red gold with reptile skin strap.
