Breitling Blackbird

At first glance, the Breitling Blackbird from the Windrider range bears an uncanny resemblance to the Chronomat B01, the other chronograph powerhouse in the collection. Therefore it is of no surprise that the origin of the name Blackbird refers to a special series designed based on the Chronomat, the brand's flagship model.

This model stands proud on its own with its understated elegant design, from the black dial contrasted with luminescent indexes and large hands, to the casing which comes in a matt finish or a polished steel finish. One step above the other chronomats is the large date display.

Breitling Blackbird is powered by the automatic Breitling Caliber 44 (base ETA 2892-A2 with Dubois Dėpraz module), containing 38 jewels with 28,800 vph. It is a COSC officially certified chronometer, making the watch one of the most reliable and precise around.

The stainless steel case is 43.7mm in diameter with a height of 14.5mm. The case features a unidirectionally rotating racheted bezel with tachymeter scale. The face is made of scratch-resistant glareproofed sapphire crystal.

The crown is screwed-locked with two gaskets. The sophisticated design of the crown guards as well as protective pushrings defend against impacts from daily use. Water-resistance is to 30 atm. The main functions are hours, minutes, subsidiary seconds; chronograph; large date at 12.

This timepiece is teamed with a pilot bracelet, steel-satin finished, with a folding clasp.
