Breitling Bentley GMT

The Breitling Bentley GMT is part of the Serie Motors collection. It was in 1946 that the first Bentley rolled out of a factory in Crewe. In memory of that historic moment, Breitling created a series of timepieces – Breitling for Bentley.

This model is moulded with the designs of the British carmaker in mind, with its totalizer rims on the dial paying homage to Bentley dashboards. Another outstanding feature of the Bentley GMT is the original chronograph design, where the band and casing seem to fuse seamlessly together into an asymmetrical lug creation.

Breitling Bentley GMT

Breitling Bentley GMT is powered by the automatic Breitling Caliber 47B (base ETA 2829-A2 with Dubois Dėpraz module), containing 38 jewels with 28,800 vph. This movement has a 60-minute totalizer in the centre. It is a COSC officially certified chronometer, making the watch one of the most reliable and precise around.

The stainless steel case is an extremely stately 49mm in diameter with a height of 14.1mm. Travelers will appreciate the bidirectionally rotating pinion bezel under the crystal that is adorned with reference cities, from London to Tokyo, New York to Bangkok, time zones will be a breeze to read The face is made of scratch-resistant glareproofed sapphire crystal, which is cambered, making it easy to read the dial with little distortions at angles.

The crown is screwed in. A pushpiece by the left of the case moves the GMT red-arrowed hand forwards in 1-hour increments to display the second timezone. Water-resistance is to 100m. The main functions are hours, minutes, subsidiary seconds; chronograph; date on subdial at 6; 24-hour display as second time zone.

The steel version of Breitling Bentley GMT has dials that come in several variations: royal ebony, Neptune, silver storm, or bronze, whereas the red gold version has dials of royal ebony or silver storm. The one featured here is the silver storm, showing a white background with silvered hands and indexes. This timepiece is teamed with a GMT black rubber strap unique to this model or the Speed bracelet.
