Breguet Heritage Tourbillon

To appreciate Breguet Heritage Tourbillon, a short histroy on The Heritage collection. This collection features curved tonneau cases, following the style of 18th century timepieces, although outfitted with modern materials. The brand has always enjoyed a long run of success in crafting contemporary adaptations of founder A.-L. Breguet's creations, and in the Héritage Tourbillon, we see that exemplified a step further. Breguet Heritage Tourbillon contains the manually wound Breguet Caliber 557 with 21 jewels that vibrate at 18,000 times per hour. The unique tonneau-shaped platinum case is 42mm x 35mm and has a height of 12.24mm. The face and back are made of scratch resistant sapphire crystal, meaning that the transparent back shows a splendid view of the exquisite movement within. Water-resistance is to 30m. The main functions are hours, minutes (off-center); and subsidiary seconds on the tourbillon cage.

The silvered gold guilloche lined dial with silvered Roman numerals is given a contemporary twist by the quirky blue hands. The strap is black reptile leather with folding clasp. Another alternative to this classical timepiece is the red gold casing paired with brown leather strap.
