Blancpain Leman GMT Alarm
The Blancpain Leman GMT Alarm was co-developed with Frederic Piguet, and in this timepiece, as the name suggests, Blancpain has conscientiously included an alarm mechanism with automatic winding, amidst other functions. Blancpain came up with the Leman collection with the traveler in mind, and therefore it is of no surprise that this distinguished brand has managed to squeeze in many functions like the alarm and chronograph in a bid to ensure precise timekeeping.

The movement utilizes the automatic Blancpain Caliber 1241H with 38 jewels that vibrate at 28,800 times per hour. The luxurious red gold case (with alternative of a white gold option) is 40mm in diameter and has a height of 13.7mm. It features a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal face and case back, meaning that the transparent back offers a splendid view of the movement within. The crown and buttons are screwed in. The main functions are hours, minutes, subsidiary seconds; date; 24-hour display as a second time zone; alarm with power reserve display and indication for alarm function. The Blancpain Leman GMT Alarm dial is a classy black, with silvered luminous hands as well as Arabic numerals and indexes. This watch is also paired with a sturdy black rubber strap with folding clasp.
