Bell & Ross BR01 Airborne
Bell & Ross BR01 Airborne model pays homage to the U.S. Airborne paratroopers that landed in Normandy on June 6, 1944. The Airborne division's motto was “Death from Above”, associated with a militant skull visual, a reminder of the constant threat they faced and their capability to remain safe. Bell & Ross' Airborne model has a case similar in size to what the pilots wore during that D-day invasion.

The movement on Bell & Ross BR01 Airborne utilizes the automatic ETA Caliber 2893 with 21 jewels that vibrate at 28,800 times per hour. The impressive DLC-coated stainless steel case is 46mm x 46mm, with a height of 10.2mm. DLC, or diamond-like coating, is an indestructible finish that renders the watch virtually scratch-proof. The bezel is secured to the monocoque case with four screws at each corner. It uses a screw-in crown. The face is made of sapphire crystal. The main functions are hours and minutes. The band is made of black rubber, and comes with a buckle. More notably, the skull symbol, hand and markings are coated with black luminescent material, ensuring excellent readability from this interesting timepiece when the skull and hands lights up in the dark.
