Ball Fireman Night Train
Ball Fireman Night Train brings to mind trains chugging along in the night, with the fireman in place in the engine room, clearly paying homage to founder Webb C. Ball's association with American railroads. The Fireman Night Train is truly a sight to behold at night, with a total of 63 micro gas tubes on the sword hands and dial that allow brilliant illumination.

Ball Fireman Night Train uses the automated Ball Caliber 124 (base ETA 2824-2) that vibrate at 28,800 times per hour. 25 jewels are included in the movement and it has a 38-hour power reserve. Of special mention is the diamond-like carbon (DLC) coating on the stainless steel case, which lends a sleek gun-metal sheen to the case, and is highly resistant to scratches with electrical insulation. This case is 43mm in diameter with a height of 11.1mm. It has a screw-in crown and a screw-down case back. The face is made of anti-reflective sapphire crystal. The main functions are hours, minutes, sweep seconds s; date at 3; 24hour military time indication; and a quick set date warning system as a triangle under the military window that turns to red and black between 9pm-3am as a reminder not to set the time then. Shock-resistant to 5,000Gs and water-resistant to 100m, the Fireman is definitely functional for rugged use. The black calfskin strap or choice of black rubber strap completes the sleek black design.
