Ball Engineer Master II Officer

Like the Engineer Master II Aviator, the Ball Engineer Master II Officer brings to mind an unfettered pocket watch, save for the second hand subdial at 6. Both boasts an easy to read large case at 46mm. In addition, unique and as a tribute to founder Webb C. Ball's roots in Ohio, the back of the watch case features a magnificent engraving of the Wright flyer invented by the Wright brothers in Ohio.

The Ball Engineer Master II Officer is shock-resistant to 5,000Gs, and water-resistant to 50m. This watch uses the manually wound mechanical ETA Unitas Caliber 6498 with 17 jewels that vibrate at 18,000 times per hour. The power reserve can be estimated to 46hours.

The stainless steel case is 46mm in diameter with a height of 13.8mm. It has a screw-down back and large screw-in crown. Of special mention is the sapphire crystal case back revealed by a hinged stainless steel back from pressing the button at 4. The face is also made of anti-reflective sapphire crystal. The main functions are hours, minutes, subsidiary seconds.

The one feature everyone has come to associate with Ball's watches is the excellent readability with the clever use of self-powered micro gas tubes. This aesthetically pleasing watch is no exception, using 14 tubes on hands and dial, as well as SuperLuminova paint covering the Arabic numerals.

Both the black dial with white markers, or the other option of white dial with copper-colored markers are equally attractive. The band is made of brown calfskin leather with a buckle.
