Ball Engineer Hydrocarbon Trieste Chronograph

The BALL Engineer Hydrocarbon Trieste Chronograph features prominently the mission badge of the Bathyscape Trieste on its dial, hinting at its functionality as THE watch for the serious diver. The world's first 7,500G shock resistant automatic mechanical watch with chronograph functions water-resistant to 600m, it remains as reliable up to -40°C. This watch uses the automated ETA Valjoux Caliber 7750 with 25 jewels that vibrate at 28,800 times per hour. It has a 42-hour power reserve. The titanium case is 43mm in diameter with a height of 18.4mm. It features an automatic helium valve, and uses a unidirectional rotating dive steel bezel as well as a screw-down and lock-down crown. The face is made of 4mm sapphire crystal. The main functions are hours, minutes, subsidiary seconds; chronograph; day and date at 3. The white dials offer great readability contrasted against the black background. Boasting of self-powered 50 micro gas tubes on the hands and dial that glow continuously up to 100 times brighter than phosphorous paint up to 25 years, the EH Trieste can be relied upon even during night diving. The band made of titanium and stainless steel also features a folding clasp that hides a double link allowing it to be worn outside a dive suit.
